favorite handcrafted jewelry

With the holidays right around the corner, there are so many handcrafted goodies that keep catching my eyes!

With “Little STRUCTUREbags” finally emerging from the if-it-dangles-I-will-yank-it phase, my eyes are again open to beautiful handcrafted jewelry. Today I want to share a few items that I want, have or am just dreaming about!

I've followed May Yeung Jewelry since its birth over a decade ago - when she first brought designs in to my work. Her husband and I were colleagues at a structural design firm! What fun it's been to watch her business grow, see her designs in magazines and on celebrities. It's been a while since I purchased from her and I know the biz may have grown beyond an every-piece-is-handmade level, but her style is still the same: clean, fresh, wearable. This long, elegant chain is $160.

Most of you know I love upcycling! So, when I came across this maker who uses both new and upcycled materials to create her jewelry, I was intrigued. This fun arrow necklace ($24) is something I would definitely wear. But all of Whiskey & Wine's designs have a natural, yet clean look. Something close to STRUCTUREbags heart!

Artistic Works by Lu is a favorite around West Point and it is clear why! With her well-crafted jewelry, beautiful styles and affordable prices, Lu is hard to beat for everyday styles. You can dress it up or down and even layer it with her many other styles. Plus, Lu has reps that might even be in your neck-of-the-woods. I know I love Erin and her ability to customize! My first post-baby piece was Lu. This layered necklace is $38.50.

Wow! I stumbled across this maker as I was applying for entry to an exclusive craft fair. Erika Honig Jewelry is breathtakingly intricate and even with its higher price tag, a collection that has caught my attention. I love the detail, the masculine/feminine feel and the unique styling. This cuff is $210.
