STRUCTUREbags’ Partnership to Benefit Veterans and Military Families

West Point, N.Y. -- STRUCTUREbags, the West Point-based manufacturer of eco-friendly purses and accessories, is excited to announce their strategic partnership with Team Red, White & Blue, the national organization connecting veterans to their communities through physical and social activities.

Since its founding location at the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2011, STRUCTUREbags has supported active military families through its Camo With a Cause line of products. For every item purchased in that line $1 is donated to aid military families.

“As our Camo With a Cause line has grown, we have been working to find a like-minded non-profit partner that will enable us to increase our own giving and expose more Americans to the cause,” said Brenda Guyader, founder and designer of STRUCTUREbags.

The partnering of STRUCTUREbags and Team RWB addresses the missions of both organizations, as highlighted by Team RWB National Athletic Director and West Point Chapter Captain Lou Nemec. “Team RWB is excited to partner with STRUCTUREbags and other small businesses, who by nature are engaged at the community level just like Team RWB."

“STRUCTUREbags is exactly the kind of business we want to partner with to help get our message out to the community and to motivate people to get active and get involved!” added Nemec.

STRUCTUREbags will invest $1 per item sold from the Camo with a Cause line in Team RWB’s ongoing social and athletic programs for veterans and their families.

Before turning her attention to accessory design, Brenda Guyader spent more than 12 years as a successful structural engineer. The features her customers have come to expect in a well-made, handcrafted STRUCTUREbag are rooted in Brenda’s seismic design background. Her handcrafted, eco-friendly bags, gifts and accessories are featured in three distinct collections: Organic Canvas, Camo With a Cause, and Cadet Grey.
